Welcome OHEA’s new Director, Zeenia Junkeer! We are excited for your leadership!

The Oregon Health Equity Alliance (OHEA) is pleased to announce the hiring of its first Director, Dr. Zeenia Junkeer.

Dr. Junkeer (Zeenia) is a social justice focused, primary care Naturopathic Physician. Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, Zeenia is a first generation college graduate and proud Sri Lankan American social, racial and reproductive justice advocate who calls Oregon home.

Zeenia expressed, “I am honored to be able to be in a leadership role that allows me to integrate my lived and professional experiences to the work of OHEA. I am passionate about supporting and uplifting community led and driven strategies and advocating for policies that center those most impacted by inequities.”
